Welcome

This is a solar-powered website, which means that lack of sunlight will cause it to be offline at times. It runs on a small solar-powered server located on the roof of the IT University of Copenhagen. As a ‘proof of concept’ infrastructure it is merely a beginning, a site of experimentation for both students and researchers interested in doing computation with constraints.

We want you to join us in this experiment! So, if working within limits is something for you then check out our navigation panel (on the left) and get going by, for example, launching a collaborative editing pad. If you have ideas for what the website might host, then please let us know. We want to make this a living infrastructure!

This website draws a lot of inspiration from the solar website of LOW←TECH MAGAZINE as well as the hedge doc pad hosted by data coop

This server setup and website came to be during a artist residency by Jacob Remin, hosted by the Center for Climate IT in 2024-2025. It was made with generous help and support from James Maguire, Frauke Tom H Mennes, Luis Alfredo Landa Mariaca, Sebastian Büttrich, Julian Charles Philip Priest, Yucheng Lu, Halfdan Hauch Jensen, Halfdan Mouritzen and The Danish Arts Council.
